This Might Be Hooray For Earth’s Last Song

Hooray for Earth may have broken up last month, but it looks like they still had one more song up their sleeves before officially saying goodbye.

The New York City-based band posted a song called 'Lostsomething_2012' on their website and made the track available as a free download. The song was supposed to be on their second and final album, 'Racy,' which was released in July. Instead, the song just collected dust in the demo stage.

And although they announced the end of the band, their Twitter account is still pretty active:

Despite the roughness of the production, the droning guitars, heavy rhythms and strong vocals are still strong and make us wish they never broke up. They played their last gig at Glasslands in Brooklyn on Nov. 24.
