Neko Case tries on a variety of different moods and drifts through some musical changes in the one-and-a-half-minute video trailer for her upcoming album. It's the first taste of new music from the alt-country torch singer since 2009's 'Middle Cyclone.'

In the clip, which you can watch above, Case goes for a stroll across a barren field, snoozes in bed and sinks into a bathtub while some awesomely fierce music slowly builds beneath her. There are also some lingering shots of trinkets on tables and such. Plus, a mounted deer head makes an appearance.

At the end of it all, the words 'The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You' show up, which may or may not be the title of the upcoming album, So far, no details have been revealed. A release date for the record, her sixth, hasn't been announced yet either.

If that does end up being the name of the album, maybe Case -- who still doubles her time in the New Pornographers -- is going the Fiona Apple route on the record, not only revealing personal scars but also housing the entire emotional cleansing in a title that will give Twitter devotees major headaches for months to come. Stay tuned.
