Despite Bono being temporarily sidelined thanks to a recent cycling accident in New York, U2 are forging ahead with their media blitz to promote their recently released, and talked-about, 'Songs Of Innocence' album.

The legendary rockers are issuing a visual companion to the album in the form of 'Films Of Innocence,' which features videos for the album's 11 tracks, each created by a different artist. The collection features contributions from Oliver Jeffers, Robin Rhode, D*Face, Mode 2, Chloe Early,Vhils, Maser, ROA, DALeast, Todd James and Egyptian graphic designer, novelist and videographer, Ganzeerm, the one behind 'Volcano' -- check it out above.

'Volcano' features a stop motion style that was assembled from nearly 900 different posters created by Ganzeer. "I was only given three weeks to work on the thing from start to finish," the artist said in a press release. "An impossible number of posters to design in three weeks, let alone print, and film, frame-by-frame, stop-motion style, and then finally edit into a video synced to the song. So my approach mainly differed in having to deprive myself of sleep and shower much less."

All the films are being featured on various websites today, with 'Volcano' coming courtesy of Pitchfork. The entire collection is being made available starting tomorrow (Dec. 9) for purchase via iTunes and Amazon.
