Touch and Go Records has announced it will reissue Urge Overkill’s 1992 Stull EP this October.

The Stull EP marked the Chicago-based alt-rockers' final release on Touch and Go before making their major-label debut, Saturation, in 1993 on Geffen. The six-song effort (see the complete tracklist at the bottom of the page) opened with the band’s classic cover of Neil Diamond’s “Girl, You’ll Be a Woman Soon,” which was later immortalized in the 1994 Quentin Tarantino movie, Pulp Fiction.

“Huge Neil Diamond fans, we recorded this cover with producer Kramer,” the band wrote of the cover in a press statement. “It was later found by Quentin Tarantino at a record store in Amsterdam. His use of the song in the infamous Uma Thurman overdose scene in Pulp Fiction resulted in our version becoming an international hit.”
