Hailing from Dallas, Texas, indie rock quartet Valise have quickly shot to the top of fans' and critics' radars alike, thanks in part to their intense and energetic live show. Now, they're preparing for the release of their debut LP, 'Young Bloomer,' set for release on Feb. 24.

Today (Jan. 15), Diffuser is excited to partner with Valise to premiere a very special music video for one of the album's singles, 'Don't Forget Me.' As soon as you hit play on the video above, you'll see just how special this video truly is.

"The idea of a completely app-based performance came to us one day on tour," vocalist Vince Penick tells us. "It started with somebody annoying everyone in the van, goofing off with a synthesizer app. A minute later, somebody else had their phone out playing along. Then the singing started, and it just became this weird thing we started doing."

Bassist Casey Newton adds, "The apps themselves are pretty incredible. We're using Animoog by Moog Music and iMPC from Akai, which are both essentially studio-quality instruments in your pocket, made by some of the best companies in the business."

"People have been using iPads on stage for years now, and with how good the apps have gotten, they're as valid of a tool for making music as anything else," he goes on. "I'm hoping iOS rock will be a valid genre in a few years."

If you dig the app-based version of 'Don't Forget Me,' make sure to pick up the studio track at this location -- and mark Feb. 24 on your calendars to help Valise celebrate the release of 'Young Bloomer'!
