Vic Mensa's cosign from fellow Chicago native Kanye West has caused his career to take off in a huge way, so much so that we was able to have Kanye guest on "U Mad" from his upcoming album, Traffic. Now, a video for the track has been released -- check it out above.

The intense clip features red lights, Mensa in a full-body straightjacket, some sort of spark-producing construction work, police in riot gear and Kanye wearing a shirt honoring his late mother, Donda West.

Aside from promoting his own upcoming album, Mensa's been heavily involved in Kanye's SWISH: He's listed as a co-writer on “All Day" and “Wolves," both of which are set to appear on the album. The two also appeared at a Chance the Rapper-hosted open mic in Chicago last month and performed "All Day" and "U Mad."

As for Kanye, news broke about an upcoming project of his late last month: On an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it was announced that his wife Kim Kardashian West is pregnant with the couple's second child.
