Bloc Party have unveiled an accompanying visual for their new song, "The Love Within," and it stands up in the rich tradition of shopping mall music videos.

The Ivana Bonic-directed clip follows a diverse set of shoppers -- including frontman Kele Okereke -- dancing their way through a mall well after closing hours. It comes complete with slick transitions and a fun, surprise ending. Check it out above.

No surprise here: Okereke says the video is meant to capture the “feelings of joy and being connected” expressed in Bloc Party’s latest song. “The only rule that I had was that I wanted something that reflected the states of joy,” he told Rolling Stone. “I think the video does that. It captures being lost in the moment and that’s the one way I feel like the video is connected to the song.”

“The Love Within” is the lead single from Bloc Party’s upcoming album, HYMNS. The LP is due out Jan. 29 via Infectious Music/BMG/Vagrant following 2012’s Four and two solo albums from Okereke.

Bloc Party have also announced a string of tour dates overseas, all of which can be seen at the band's website.
