The reviews from the Academy Awards ceremony last night (Feb. 26) might be mixed, but Jimmy Kimmel certainly seemed to enjoy delivering the post-Oscars show on ABC -- and when it came time to top off the evening with a special musical performance, he had help from multi-platinum chart-toppers Coldplay.

The band, currently touring behind its hit album 'Mylo Xyloto,' stopped by the Bud Light Stage at 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to treat the audience to a pair of songs: their latest single, 'Charlie Brown,' and their previous hit, 'Paradise,' which Kimmel later posted as a Web-only exclusive.

Coldplay's fifth album to debut at No. 1, 'Mylo Xyloto' topped the charts in 30 countries on its way to a first-week tally of 208,000 units -- including a record-setting 83,000 digital copies -- back in October 2011. It's gone on to earn a platinum certification in the United States and three Grammy nominations, along with spinning off four hit singles: 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall,' 'Paradise,' 'Charlie Brown,' and 'Princess of China.'
