Watch Lorde Play a Femme Fatale in Disclosure’s ‘Magnets’ Video
Disclosure just returned last week with their second full-length, Caracal, and now, the English electronica duo have shared a music video for the Lorde-featured “Magnets.” The new clip centers on the New Zealand pop star’s affair with a married man that takes a turn for the dire (and fiery). See it unfold in the video above.
The collaboration-heavy Caracal is out now on Island Records, and it serves as a follow-up to Howard and Guy Lawrence’s breakthrough 2013 debut, Settle.
The brothers’ tour takes them to L.A. tonight (Sept. 29) and Austin City Limits this weekend. The North American leg of their tour wraps up at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Oct. 24. Then, they head toward home for a handful of dates in the U.K. Get more details at their website.
Lorde is reportedly working on her own highly anticipated sophomore album. Toward the end of last year, the 18-year-old "Royals" singer revealed she had started writing new material. Then, her producer Joel Little said the pair had plans to head into the studio last spring. While further details remain scarce, Lorde has appeared on a couple of standalone singles, including “Magnets” and the Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 track, “Yellow Flicker Beat.” Her debut effort, Pure Heroine, landed back in 2013.
