Salem, the WGN America series that takes place during the real-life Salem witch trials of the late 17th century, is set to premiere its third season on Nov. 2 with a guest appearance by Marilyn Manson. You can see the trailer, which feature Manson eating a leech, above.

Manson, who's had a handful of cameos and a recurring role as Ron Tully in Sons of Anarchy, plays Thomas Dinley, who was described in a press release as "the go-to man in Salem, from a shave and a haircut to being leeched, bled, sliced open or sewn up." The plot, according to EW, deals with Dinley "teaming up with the devil to create hell on Earth."

"My character ends up being something that could be called the devil's advocate or the devil's best friend," he said. "He has no moral balance. The place where Dinley operates his business is not dissimilar to my home. I collect a lot of medical devices."

The musician has been connected with the show since its 2014 beginnings. A portion of "Cupid Carries a Gun," which Manson wrote with his guitarist Tyler Bates, serves as Salem's theme. The full version of the track can be found on Manson's album from last year, The Pale Emperor.

Last month, Manson canceled a performance in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, due to an unspecified illness during opening slot on Slipknot's tour. The night before, he temporarily left the stage during his set, and two weeks prior in Hershey, Pa., Manson appeared out-of-sorts, slurring stage banter and trying to put an opened bottle of beer onto his microphone stand. Manson, Slipknot and Of Mice and Men remain on the road through Aug. 27. You can see all the dates at Slipknot's website.
