With Wilco already in New York City for a few gigs earlier this week , the band made sure to make time for a visit to 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' on Wednesday night (July 26). Wilco are in the middle of an extensive summer shed tour and thus playing like a well-oiled machine, and it showed -- both their performance of 'Art of Almost,' the lead track off their latest album, 'The Whole Love,' for the TV show, and the web-exclusive 'Laminated Cat,' a cut that was recorded by Wilco side project Loose Fur, were amazingly tight.

Eagle-eyed fans may notice frontman Jeff Tweady playing a gorgeous Gibson SG guitar during 'Art of Almost' -- yes, that is actually his very own Jeff Tweedy Signature Gibson SG, which was rolled out earlier this month. We gotta say, his axe, also pictured above, both looks and sounds pretty fantastic.
