Calling Austin home, the Wind and the Wave have been in full-blown celebration mode recently. After releasing their debut album, 'From the Wreckage,' in July, the alt-country-tinged, folk-inspired, psychedelic-infused duo hit the road in support of the Barenaked Ladies. Having wrapped up the tour on Aug. 9 at Texas' Rock the River Fest, Dwight Baker (the Wind) and Patricia Lynn (the Wave) are now teasing fans with brief behind-the-scenes videos of each track from 'From the Wreckage.'

All this week, Diffuser is proud to unveil five of the teaser videos, starting with 'It's a Longer Road to California Than I Thought.' This is one of the duo's more Americana-esque tunes and, as you'll see in the video above, they explain how this particular song experienced a significant change during the writing process.

The Wind and the Wave's debut album, 'From the Wreckage,' is now available on CD, digital and vinyl formats via RCA Records. Get all the details right here.
