Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst is otherwise engaged this summer. The musician will be spending plenty of time on tour exploring other projects.

The vocalist has just added several new shows to the already sold out dates that he had booked this summer. Plus, he's also joining his other project, Desaparecidos, for their first extended touring since 2002. The band's run will be highlighted by their appearance at Los Angeles' FYF Fest on September 2.

The group released one album back in 2002 titled 'Read Music/Speak Spanish.' It is not known whether or not the return to touring will lead to a second release or not.
