Earlier this year, outdoor-footwear maker Sanuk premiered 'Sherm's In the Band,' a documentary in which renowned surf photographer Steve Sherman chronicles his travels across Europe with singer-songwriter (and former pro wave rider) Donavon Frankenreiter. Sherm was, indeed, in the band, adding onstage percussion when not shooting backstage photos and video, and judging from the film, the pair had a heck of a time. Now comes a second installment: 'Sherm's In the Band: Part II' (watch below), and once again, it's testament to the sweetness of the rock 'n' roll life.

This latest video was shot in Australia, where Sherman and Frankenreiter happened to reconnect after some time apart. When Frankenreiter found out his buddy was Down Under, he quickly welcomed him back into the musical family.

"He was like, 'Dude, we're gonna play,'" Sherman says in the video, the tone in his voice suggesting he was more than willing to reprise his role as backup player. The photog quickly got back into musician mode, and early on, he's seen adding shaker and background vocals to a version of the INXS classic 'Don't Change.'

"This weekend was kind of a rock 'n' roll weekend," Sherman says. "I didn't get a lot of work done."

"Don't change a thing," goes the chorus in that INXS tune, and after a spin through Oz with his best friends and buckets of cold beer, Sherman looks like a dude who never would. Do you blame him?
