The duo comprised of Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid -- better known as La Roux -- might not be the first band that comes to mind when gearing up to watch a violent action film. However, their hit song 'In for the Kill' is a surprisingly good fit for the 'Dredd 3D' movie trailer.

The trailer displays several dark, action-packed snapshots from the upcoming sci-fi flick while the haunting tune by La Roux plays in the background. 'In for the Kill' is a track from the British group's self-titled debut album, released in 2009 via Polydor.

The song made quite a splash, inspiring dubstep producer Skream to create a 'Let’s Get Ravey' remix of it, which was featured in a Code Luna Giorgio Armani commercial earlier this year. Electronica icon Skrillex also remixed the track, and Kanye West contributed to the official pop remix.

'In for the Kill' was even nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 2011 Grammy Awards. While they didn’t win in that particular category, La Roux took home the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album that year.
