After staying below the radar since the release of her 2005 album, 'Extraordinary Machine,' Fiona Apple has been on a mission to make her presence known again. The singer gave an emotional performance at this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas and just released her fourth studio album, 'The Idler Wheel Is Wiser than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More than Ropes Will Ever Do,' through Epic Records. Apple is ready to kick off her North American tour this week and just announced a fall leg to her itinerary.

Apple will launch the 'Idler Wheel...' trek tomorrow night (June 19) in Ithaca, N.Y. Fans will be able to see her live in cities like New York City, Washington, D.C., Montreal, Canada, Detroit, Mich., Chicago, Ill. and more. The first run will end July 29 in Hollywood, Calif., which is ironic given Apple's anti-celebrity ideology.

The New York songstress will take a break in August before heading back out on the road for the second leg of her tour. Things will kick off Sept. 9 in San Jose, Calif. and will mostly stop in West Coast and Southern cities. Scroll down to see the entire fall schedule. Tickets for the new dates start going on sale on Friday, June 22.
