New York City's Interpol are still riding the release of their latest LP, 'El Pintor,' and today (Oct. 20), they paint quite the depressing picture in the official music video for 'My Desire' -- check out the video above.

In 'My Desire' -- which was directed by Markus Lundqvist -- the band plays a seedy dive bar, where a man sits at the bar, pounding a bottle of liquor and thumbing through polaroids which appear to be some kind of tragic recap of a regretful decision; a breakup, murder, or both.

Paul Banks and company's new album, 'El Pintor' is out now via Matador. 'My Desire' follows the album's recent music video, 'Twice as Hard' -- watch below:
