‘Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me’

In 1987, the mainstream finally started warming up to the Cure as the single ‘Just Like Heaven’ enjoyed some commercial success. The track came from the album ‘Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me,’ which features an up-close photo of a pair of lipstick-covered lips.

As maddening as it is to have a pair of lips that close yet a kiss uncompleted, imagine how much worse it would be to see them advancing toward you in anticipation. That’s what the person who created this animated GIF must’ve had in mind, as the lips from the artwork jut out toward you in hopes of swapping spit.
