If ever there were an alt-rock circus, Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips would be the undisputed ringleader. The Flaming Lips’ live shows have become nothing short of legendary. The crowd becomes an integral part of the entertainment when Coyne climbs into a human sized hamster ball and rolls around on the hands of the audience. Aside from a lot of courage, that also takes a lot of faith in his fans. In this shot, Coyne is rolling back toward the stage in the monster ball as fans help him along.
