After the release of Baz Luhrmann‘s big-screen adaptation of ‘The Great Gatsby’ was pushed back a few months, a new promo was unveiled in the interim. The clip pairs scenes from the upcoming flick with Florence + the Machine’s ‘Bedroom Hymns,’ a tune that’s well-suited for the dramatic plot. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan and is scheduled to hit theaters next May.

‘Bedroom Hymns’ appears on ‘Ceremonials,’ which dropped back in 2011 via Universal Records. ‘Seven Devils,’ a track from that same album, was used in a number of trailers earlier this year, including ‘Beautiful Creatures’ and ‘Shakespeare Unlocked.’ Additionally, Florence's song ‘Breath of Life’ was featured in a commercial for ‘Snow White and the Huntsman.’

Frontwoman Florence Welch joined the Rolling Stones onstage at the O2 Arena in London on Nov. 29, just a few weeks prior to wrapping up an international tour. The dynamic artist also hinted at wanting to work on a musical during her reported year-long hiatus from nonstop touring. Click here for more info on the band’s latest happenings.
