The Hangover Part 3’ — starring the rowdy and hilarious “wolf pack” of Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Bradley Cooper — is set to hit theaters on May 24 via Warner Bros. The trailer for the upcoming comedy features Wolfmother’s ‘Apple Tree.’

The tune is from the Australian band’s self-titled debut album, which dropped back in 2006. The disc achieved worldwide acclaim and peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 chart.

‘Woman’ — another track from that same record and arguably their biggest hit — appeared in the trailer for ‘Monsters University,' as well as a recent Target ad. Their song ‘Vagabond’ also surfaced in the 2009 film ‘(500) Days of Summer.’ Additionally, their single ‘Joker and the Thief’ appeared in a number of flicks, including ‘Jackass Number Two,’ ‘Shrek the Third,’ ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’ and the original ‘Hangover.’

You might have caught Wolfmother at such music festivals as SXSW, Big Day Out, Sasquatch!, Lollapalooza, Coachella, V Festival, Download Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Fuji Rock Festival, Roskilde Festival and Reading and Leeds Festivals. They’re slated to perform alongside Aerosmith in Sydney and Dunedin in April. Check out their official website for more details.
