A Thousand Paper Cranes, ‘Avebury’

Jared Denton Jones, aka A Thousand Paper Cranes, pours soul and beauty into the tune 'Avebury.' An enigmatic one, Jared makes beautiful, sincere and minimalistic music. His ballads come off like a wanderer's anthems. Genuine stories of purity, independence, romance, and "the left" pour out of his acoustic guitar, not unlike Rodriguez or Bob Dylan plots.

"'Avebury' is a montage I recorded while quite ill; it's rough, but I'm happy with it," he told Diffuser.fm. "I put these ideas together while on a journey around the country, much of which was spent in the mountains of Northern California."
