Watch Alabama Shakes Perform ‘Over My Head’ on ‘Fallon’

Alabama Shakes probably aren't going to top their surprise performance at Prince's studio anytime soon, but their appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was certainly nothing to scoff at. Watch the group play "Over My Head" last night (June 8) below:

"Over My Head" is the closing track from Alabama Shakes' sophomore album, Sound & Color, which was released in April via ATO and is the band's first No. 1 album, premiering at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. We thought it was pretty great too, saying in our review, "It’s hard to think of anything more to ask from a record."

As Fallon said, the band is in the midst of a world tour that will keep them on the road until November. Their itinerary features stops at most major festivals, including Bonnaroo, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza. Find their complete upcoming dates at their website.
