If you think Robin Thicke's 'Got to Give It Up' cover -- or as he likes to call it, 'Blurred Lines' -- is the best of the year, get ready to reassess. Performing last night (Oct. 9) in Mexico City, Thom Yorke and his Atoms for Peace supergroup offered their take on the Marvin Gaye dance-floor classic, and they kept it nice and funky.

It figures the rhythm section runs with this -- they've got Flea on bass, after all -- but Yorke amazes in Gaye mode, using his typically chilly falsetto as a tool for grooving folks to their cores. Whereas Atoms for Peace's excellent debut album, 'Amok,' invites dancing of a certain kind -- stilted, herky-jerky indie-folks stuff -- their rendition of 'Got to Give It Up' lends itself to regular ol' rug cutting.

Your move, Thicke.
