Black Keys Get ‘Zombiefied’ for ‘Walking Dead’-Inspired Red Cross Blood Drive
The Black Keys are among the celebrities recently "zombified" by 'The Walking Dead' makeup FX artist Greg Nicotero as part of a campaign to help spread awareness of the American Red Cross and its ongoing national blood drive. The Red Cross has started the initiative featuring the tagline "Use You Brains. Give Blood," as well as photos of the "zombified" stars -- Peter Jackson, Jimmy Smits and Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, in addition to the Keys. It has also launched a sweepstakes offering one lucky winner and his/her guest a trip to the set of 'The Walking Dead.'
Check out the portraits of the made-up celebrities, find out the details of the sweepstakes and watch a "public zombie announcement" explaining the whole deal here. And while you're at it, click here to check out Patrick Watson's song 'Noisy Sunday,' which was featured in last night's (Oct. 4) 'Walking Dead' Season 3 premiere.
