Blitzen Trapper finished up a tour in support of their most recent album, 2013’s ‘VII,’ with two shows at their hometown of Portland’s Doug Fir Lounge. During the shows, the alt country outfit played Neil Young’s iconic ‘Harvest’ in its entirety. Now, Blitzen Trapper will release ‘Live Harvest,’ a limited edition LP documenting that show, just in time for Record Store Day on April 18.

“I think we all knew the record before we even tried to play it, [it] came natural,” frontman Eric Earley says. “It’s one of those records that takes us to that place of comfort and nostalgia like the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ or a Chevy Impala. It just feels good to play.”

Around the time of the live LP’s release, Blitzen Trapper will also head out on tour. The band will play 'Harvest,' along with a few of their own songs, at City Winery locations in Chicago, New York City and Nashville. Check out a full list of stops below:
