The Breeders Announce New Album, ‘All Nerve,’ Release Title Track and Tour Dates
On March 2, the Breeders will release All Nerve, the first album since 2008's Mountain Battles, but the first with their classic lineup – Kim and Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson – since their 1993 breakthrough Last Splash. The news comes with a preview of the title track, as well as dates for a five-week tour of North America.
You can listen to "All Nerve" via the Spotify widget below. Back in October, the band gave us a test of the new work with "Wait in the Car." The album was tracked at Candyland in Dayton, Ky., Electrical Audio in Chicago and Fernwood Studios in Dayton, Ohio.
Pre-orders for All Nerve are being accepted at 4AD's website, and, in addition to CD and standard black vinyl, fans can also purchase a limited-edition orange vinyl version and package it with a t-shirt and a red vinyl 7-inch single of "Wait in the Car" that has a cover of Mike Nesmith's "Joanne" on the b-side.
The Breeders will begin their tour on April 6 at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles and conclude on May 13 at the First Avenue in Minneapolis. You can see all the dates below and get ticketing details at their website.
