The legendary Brian Eno and Underworld's Karl Hyde have paired up for a new album, and they just gave us the first taste of the collaboration. 'The Satellites' is the first single from the upcoming 'Someday World' LP, and it's a shining electro-pop gem.

The album, as well as the song, features an all-star guest list, including Coldplay's Will Champion, Darla Eno (Brian's daughter), producer John Reynolds and former Eno's former Roxy Music bandmate Andy Mackay, among others.

Even though Eno and Hyde have worked together in the past, this is their first fully collaborative effort. "I had a big collection of beginnings sitting around waiting for something to galvanise them into life, to make them more than just experiments," Eno recently told the Guardian. "That something turned out to be Karl Hyde."

'The Satellites' was written by the duo, and both of them are featured on vocals. Hyde also contributes guitar, while Eno checks in with a variety of instruments and sounds. 'Someday World,' which was produced by Eno and Fred Gibson, will be released on May 6.
