“Never Be the Same” will appear on Untethered Moon, Built to Spill's eighth album following 2009’s There Is No Enemy. The brand-new LP will arrive on vinyl just in time for Record Store Day on April 18. Then, fans can grab it on digital and CD formats on April 21 via Warner Bros. At the time of the forthcoming full-length's announcement, the indie rockers debuted its lead single, “Living Zoo.”

Built to Spill will kick off a tour in support of their comeback disc in just a few short days, playing their first show since 2012 in their hometown of Boise, Idaho, on March 27. Afterward, they’ll play a string of opening slots for Death Cab for Cutie, along with a handful of summer music festivals, including Coachella, Shaky Knees and Treefort. Check out the complete list of dates here.

If you snag tickets for one of the band’s upcoming shows, you’ll be treated to the Built to Spill's latest lineup featuring frontman Doug Martsch, guitarists Brett Netson and Jim Roth, bassist Jason Albertini and drummer Steve Gere.
