It's a been some time since Butch Walker dropped 2011's 'The Spade,' and now the singer-songwriter and producer is back with his seventh album, 'Afraid of Ghosts,' and a brand-new song, 'Chrissie Hynde.'

Enlisting fellow musician and longtime friend Ryan Adams to produce the album, 'Afraid of Ghosts' blends together pop, acoustic and folk sounds. It also brings on a number of special guests including Johnny Depp and Bob Mould.

Before its Feb. 3 release via Dangerbird Records, Walker has also shared a new emotional track, 'Chrissie Hynde.' He reminisces about better days and pays homage to the Pretenders frontwoman over a country-tinged melody. Check it out:

"What I got right now / Is all I want / Chrissie Hynde singing through a blown dash speaker," he sings and adds, "All she wants right now / Is to be the way it was."

Walker is also set to hit the road starting tonight (Oct. 7) in Vancouver and will tour North America till the end of November.
