Please feel free to come up with your own primate-related pun while watching Coldplay's just-released video for "Adventure of a Lifetime."

The high-concept clip directed by Mat Whitecross follows a group of chimpanzees that stumble across a Beats Pill speaker and quickly learn the evolutionary power of music as they form a band that looks a lot like the members of Coldplay. (Gwyneth Paltrow had no comment.)

According to Billboard, frontman Chris Martin came up with the idea when he met Andy Serkis (Gollum and King Kong himself) on a plane and talked it over. The video reportedly took about six months to make. Check it out below.

"Adventure of a Lifetime" is the lead single from Coldplay's upcoming (and final?) album A Head Full of Dreams, slated for release Dec. 4.
