During a Foo Fighters concert today (June 12) in Gothenburg, Sweden, Dave Grohl fell and broke his leg. But did the Foos cut the show short? No. Instead, Grohl had his leg wrapped backstage before returning and concluding the set while seated.

Consequence of Sound reports that the Foo Fighters frontman fell off the stage during a performance of “Monkey Wrench,” after which he addressed the crowd, saying, “Hey, ladies and gentlemen. I love you, but I think I just broke my leg. I think I really just broke my leg.”

Grohl was taken backstage, but the Foos didn’t miss a beat. According to reports, the band picked up with drummer Taylor Hawkins helming a string of covers. Upon his return, Grohl carried on the show while sitting down. “I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play guitar and scream,” he said.

One concertgoer caught Grohl’s accident on film, which you can see above. Likewise, several photos were taken of a post-injury Grohl finishing out the show (via Reddit user Schnaps).

Of course, it’s yet to be seen how this will affect the Foo Fighters’ upcoming tour dates, but certainly if Grohl can power through a broken leg as it happens, he'll be able to make Glastonbury on June 26, right? If not, Grohl has expressed support for fellow headliner Kanye West, whose place on the roster has been a hotly contested issue among festivalgoers and even incited a massive petition to have the rapper removed from the lineup. “To me, there is nothing more punk rock than having [West] stand on stage in front of 100,000 people after thousands of people petition for him to not be there,” Grohl said.
