After learning of the death of Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, Foo Fighters took to social media to mourn the loss: “We’ve lost a friend & legend. My heart is broken. RIP Lemmy. Born To Lose, Lived to Win.” But that wasn’t quite enough for Dave Grohl; the Foos leader decided to pay tribute to Lemmy in a more permanent fashion.

Grohl headed to the tattoo parlor where he had the Ace of Spades logo emblazoned on his forearm. Check out Grohl's latest ink below:

Aside from being a devout Motörhead fan, Grohl also collaborated with the late heavy metal pioneer. They worked together on Grohl’s Probot project; Kilmister sang on “Shake Your Blood” on the eponymous 2004 debut. They also performed “Ace of Spades” together -- along with Slash -- at the 2010 Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Watch that performance below:
