Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready hosted his 14th annual Crohn's Disease benefit in Seattle over the weekend and he brought along a few famous friends.
The one-off supergroup covered the Motorhead classic in tribute to Lemmy Kilmister at the annual Dimebash in honor of the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell.
"There is no easy way to say this," Motorhead wrote in a statement, "our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer."
There are some songs you just don't dare cover, songs so associated with a particular artist that to try and cover them just seems ludicrous and pointless.
