We’re only a short two weeks from the arrival of Death Cab for Cutie’s eighth album, Kintsugi, and the Seattle indie rockers are giving fans yet another listen of what’s to come with the newly revealed single, “Little Wanderer.”

Both thematically and sonically, the new track sounds like a return to form for the Ben Gibbard-fronted outfit, filled with longing and moody guitars. In that way, “Little Wanderer” fits nicely with the three Kintsugi singles that have come before: “Black Sun,” “No Room in Frame” and “The Ghosts of Beverly Drive.” Give it a spin below (via The Line of Best Fit):

Kintsugi will land in stores on March 30 via Atlantic, following Death Cab for Cutie’s 2011 full-length, Codes and Keys.

Last month, Ben Gibbard was joined by Sun Kil Moon’s Mark Kozelek during a solo show in San Francisco. A couple of concertgoers captured the two musicians performing the Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights” and Death Cab’s own “Black Sun,” respectively. You can check out both videos here.
