The Dirty Projectors are giving fans a taste of two new tracks from their forthcoming album, 'Swing Lo Magellan.' The Brooklyn, N.Y. group debuted the songs 'Offspring Are Blank' and 'The Socialites' during a four-song performance on radio station KEXP, heard at the link below.

As Fake Walls states, KEXP is a Seattle-based radio station, but the actual Dirty Projectors set took place at the Cutting Room Studios in New York City. 'Offspring Are Blank' is a laid back jazzy number featuring plenty of vocal harmonies between the band members. The tempo picks up a little after a minute into the song. 'The Socialites' is another breezy tune that highlights vocalist Amber Coffman's heavenly voice, showing a tinge of R&B flair. Previously released tunes 'Dance for You' and 'Gun Has No Trigger' rounded out their performance.

The Dirty Projectors will release 'Sweet Lo Magellan,' which is the band's sixth studio album, on July 10 via Domino Records. The band will kick off their North American tour on July 5 in Ottawa, Canada. They are booked for shows all the way through the fall, ending at the Roundhouse in London, England on October 17. See the group's full schedule on their official website and watch the video for 'Gun Has No Trigger' here.
