Eddie Vedder Is Playing a Small, Secret Show To Raise Money for Charity
Eddie Vedder announced via Pearl Jam's Instagram that he will be playing a small, secret show in Seattle. The show will raise money to benefit research to cure Epidermolysis Bullosa, a genetic skin disorder that, according to Pearl Jam's website, can cause a person's skin "to tear apart, blister, and shear off their body" from a slight touch.
For a $10 donation, fans get a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show, along with $1000 so the winner can afford to get to Seattle if he or she's not there already. According to Pearl Jam's website, these are the only tickets that will be made available to the public. The show will take place in a secret location on Oct. 30.
Vedder recently made a video announcing his support for efforts to fight this disease. He and his wife, Jill Vedder, formed Heal EB to raise money for this cause. Here's the video.
