Empire of the Sun Celebrate Seventh Anniversary of ‘Walking on a Dream’ With Vinyl Reissue

Australian electro duo Empire of the Sun will commemorate the seventh anniversary of their debut effort, Walking on a Dream, with a special-edition reissue on vinyl, which will arrive on Aug. 21 via Astralwerks.

This marks the first time Walking on a Dream will be available on vinyl in the U.S. A copy pressed on clear vinyl will be sold at local retailers come August; you can find participating stores at this location. In addition to the Walking on a Dream reissue, Empire of the Sun have unveiled a music video for “Celebrate,” a track from their 2013 sophomore LP, Ice on the Dune. Directed and starring Empire of the Sun's Luke Steele, the clip was filmed in Seoul, Korea. Check it out at the bottom of the page.

Steele and Nick Littlemore will also launch a North American tour in September, during which St. Lucia and Holy Ghost will serve as openers. It’ll kick off on Sept. 12 in Denver, with more stops in Redmond, Wash.; Vancouver; Troutdale, Ore.; San Francisco; and L.A. Get more details below.
