Exclusive Premiere: Blue October, ‘Debris’ (from ‘Things We Do at Night: Live From Texas’)

For emotive Texas alternative rockers Blue October, studio albums have only ever been half the story. Since emerging out of Houston in the mid-'90s, the band have released seven official albums – most notably their platinum-selling 2006 effort, Foiled. But over the course of their nearly two decades together, they've also released three live albums demonstrating the band's extensive range and their symbiotic relationship with their fans.

On Friday (Nov. 20), Blue October are set to release their fourth live album – but it's more than just that. Things We Do at Night (Live From Texas) is also a concert film and documentary with screenings beginning today. Recorded (and filmed) at the House of Blues in Dallas over Thanksgiving weekend last year, the 19-song album captures the band during a career-spanning set. In addition to featuring hits from the band's last four albums (including their huge single "Hate Me," the album has plenty of deeper cuts and fan favorites like "Debris," which comes from 2013's Sway.

Diffuser is proud to premiere the video for the song, which frontman Justin Furstenfeld told us is especially important to him. "'Debris' is the most enjoyable song to play live because it feels like an out-of-body experience when we play it start to finish."
