Last week, we debuted the first new track from the Attic Ends’ upcoming EP, Stripped -- A Live Recording, and today (Feb. 19), we keep things rolling with another new song! We can’t stop listening to “Tippy Toes,” the latest tune to emerge from Stripped, and we're thrilled to share it with you. Check it out in the audio player below.

Keeping with the theme of “Insanity” -- the song we shared last week -- “Tippy Toes” finds the Attic Ends embracing the sentiment of Stripped; the band is focused on the beauty found in their songs rather than too much production or instrumentation. And for a song like "Tippy Toes," that sort of subdued perspective only amplifies its impact.

"'Tippy Toes' is basically about walking on eggshells. Have you ever been with someone you were constantly filtering yourself around? Yet, you keep telling yourself they love you just as you are," Samantha Rex explains. "I'm the kind of person who, when things aren't going smoothly, I take all the responsibility for what's going wrong. If I only took extra precaution, then all the wrong in the relationship wouldn't happen. In the end, you must be free to be yourself and feel free in your relationship."

She goes on, "Constriction creates miscommunication. By pretending to always be perfect, you never get to feel free -- so how can you love fully? There is beauty in imperfections. By the end of the song, the crying out chorus represents the letting go and stomping all over those eggshells."

As we gear up for the release of Stripped -- A Live Recording, make sure you stay up-to-date with everything happening in the Attic Ends' world at their official website. And stay tuned: We have more new music from the Los Angeles-based band coming next week!
