Foo Fighters Plan Weeklong Residency On ‘Letterman’ With Special Guests
Next week on 'The Late Show With David Letterman,' the Foo Fighters will hold court as musical guests for the entire week. The Foo residency comes in support of the band's forthcoming new album, 'Sonic Highways,' as well as the Dave Grohl-produced HBO documentary of the same name. "A musical map of America" is how Grohl describes the film (check out the trailer below).
Each night, Grohl and company will have a special guest along for the ride, and though the guests have yet to be announced, we can assume it's going to be worth tuning in for judging from the wide array of people involved in the film.
Grohl will also participate as a guest, sitting down with Letterman for an interview on the first night, Monday Oct. 13.
'Sonic Highways: A Love Letter To The History Of American Music' premieres on HBO Friday, Oct. 17, while the Foo's album will hit stores on Nov. 10 via Roswell Records. Get all the details here.
