Foxygen Impress David Letterman With Their Performance of ‘How Can You Really’

Foxygen made their TV debut last night (Jan. 8) on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman,’ but you could’ve fooled us. Performing ‘How Can You Really’ from their 2014 double album, ‘… And Star Power,’ the outfit looked like seasoned pros as they took the stage by storm with some serious glam-rock sensibilities.

Frontman Sam France leapt from one spot to the next, accompanied by choreographed backup singers and Paul Shaffer and Letterman’s house band. The animated performance certainly left an impression on us -- and the ‘Late Show’ host.

“That’s all we’re looking for, for God's sake,” Letterman exclaimed after the song’s conclusion. “No more phone calls! We have a winner, ladies and gentleman!”
