Grizfolk to Release Debut Album ‘Waking Up the Giants’ in January

Grizfolk will kick off the new year by dropping their debut full-length, Waking Up the Giants.

The 12-track album is due out Jan. 8 via Virgin Records. In July, Grizfolk debuted Waking Up the Giants’ lead single, “Troublemaker,” which you can receive as an instant-grat track when you pre-order the album on iTunes. Or, you can grab an autographed vinyl bundle at the band’s website.

“When we all met in a studio in Santa Monica in 2013, little did we know that we would be writing our debut full-length album Waking Up the Giants,” the band said in a press release. “Looking back and listening to the album now that it’s completed, it truly is a journal of memories and emotions that we’ve gathered these past two years.”

Waking Up the Giants follows Grizfolk’s From the Spark EP, which landed last year and is also included on their debut LP. Check out the forthcoming album’s cover art and track list at the bottom of the page.

The L.A.-based rockers will kick off a headlining U.S. tour on Jan. 21 in San Diego, Calif. Find a complete list of dates below; ticket pre-sales have already begun at this location.
