UPDATE: Jack White's management company has issued a letter to the students and staff of the University of Oklahoma. Read it here.

Yesterday (Feb. 5), Jack White shared that he had officially "made it" when he sat down for coffee with ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic. But surely it must've been when he was able to require venues to become banana-free zones and dictate the recipe for the guacamole served at his concerts, right? Regardless, White called out the University of Oklahoma's OU Daily newspaper for releasing that information and more, as it appeared in his tour rider. The newspaper also revealed that White took home $80,000 for the show.

While onstage during the concert at OU’s McCasland Field House this past Monday (Feb. 2), White addressed the situation, saying, “Just because you can type it on your computer doesn’t make it right" (via OU Daily).

Like many tour riders, White detailed the food requirements for the venue. His included -- among other stipulations -- smoked salmon, homemade guacamole (recipe included) and a dozen chicken wings (with which there was more leniency in flavors: “buffalo, teriyaki, surprise us.”). However, White’s rider also insisted that there be absolutely no bananas present: “PLEASE NOTE: this is a NO BANANA TOUR. (Seriously) We don’t want to see bananas anywhere in the building.”

While we can only report what we've heard from the student paper, it is worth noting that White's rider isn't only for White -- it covers his entire band and crew (think allergies).

Not only did the iconic rocker express his anger during the concert, William Morris Entertainment has allegedly blacklisted OU from future concerts featuring Jack White and all of the group’s other artists -- though his management company says this is "untrue."
