Kasabian to Perform Debut Album in Full at iTunes Festival
British electronic rockers Kasabian are set to perform at this year's iTunes Festival in London on Sept. 5 and concertgoers received some pretty cool news over the weekend about the upcoming gig:
As the festival tweeted, Kasabian will be performing their debut album in its entirety as part of their performance. 'Kasabian' was released on Sept. 6, 2004, so the band's concert will come just one day before the 10th anniversary. The LP peaked at No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart and cracked the Billboard Top 100 as well. Four singles were released from the self-titled debut: 'Reason Is Treason,' 'Club Foot,' 'L.S.F.' and 'Cutt Off.'
Kasabian also recently announced the North American release date for their latest record, '48:13,' along with a run of stateside gigs. No word yet on whether fans can expect an album performance; in the meantime, Kasabian's gig at the iTunes Festival will be broadcast online for the entire world.
