Kasabian’s Tom Meighan and Girlfriend Welcome Baby

Break out the cigars! Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has entered the world of fatherhood.

U.K. tabloid the Sun reports that the vocalist's girlfriend, Kim, gave birth to the couple's first child, a baby girl named Mimi Malone Meighan, just a few weeks back. The birth had been kept out of the headlines until Meighan's bandmate Serge Pizzorno let slip with the news at an afterparty for the Soccer Aid Unicef fundraiser.

It was a big day for Pizzorno, who scored a highlight-worthy goal in the celebrity soccer game and was later named Man of the Match for his efforts. Pizzorno dedicated his honor to Meighan and his little one at the Lowry Hotel bash in Manchester.

Pizzorno himself is a father, so now his two-year-old son, Ennio, will have someone to play with.
