With the release of her memoir, ‘Girl In a Band,’ approaching, Kim Gordon has announced a book tour, which will kick off at the end of February and go through March. The iconic Sonic Youth frontwoman will make stops in New York, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon and California.

Gordon will partake in interviews at each stop along the way. Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster, Sleater-Kinney’s Carrie Brownstein and singer-songwriter Aimee Mann are all slated to helm the interviews with Gordon. ‘Girl In a Band’ will be released via Harper Collin’s Dey Street Books on Feb. 24. It will detail Gordon’s life from childhood to today, including her divorce from Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore and the band’s consequent breakup.
