Kings of Leon’s Nathan Followill Welcomes Daughter

The Kings of Leon extended family keeps on expanding. Drummer Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin welcomed a daughter, Violet Marlowe Followill, as a belated Christmas present. Little Violet was born in Nashville on Dec. 26.

"Mom, Dad and baby are doing well and are so in love!," the band's rep confirmed to PEOPLE. We hope that Followill tweets some photos of his newborn daughter soon. We bet she's adorable.

Violet made her grand entrance at 4:01PM, weighing in at 7 lbs., 13 oz. She is the couple's first child. Followill and Baylin married in Nov. 2009.

Little Violet follows cousins Dixie Pearl, the daughter of singer Caleb Followill, and Knox Cameron Patrick, the son of guitarist Matthew Followill. There's a lot of musical DNA right there. Perhaps the mini trio will eventually take up instruments and form a band, taking after their famous fathers. It certainly wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.
