Last week, Arcade Fire released a much ballyhooed video for the song 'We Exist.' They dedicated it to "a young person's struggle with gender identity," and they featured 'The Amazing Spider-Man' star Andrew Garfield in it.

He plays a guy who dresses like a woman, and dances in a seedy bar before ending up onstage with Arcade Fire during their Coachella set last month.

Now Against Me! singer Laura Jane Grace, who has been open about her own transgender issues over the past couple years, has blasted Arcade Fire in a tweet taking issue with their video.

Earlier this year, Against Me! released an album called 'Transgender Dysphoria Blues' that deals with the issue of transgender people. And a month ago, Arcade Fire got into another Twitter battle, with mask-wearing EDM star Deadmau5 who had a problem with the band's opinion on live music vs. electronic music.

So it's your move, Arcade Fire.

In the meantime, you can watch the 'We Exist' video below.
