After the major success of their self-titled debut album, the Lumineers are finally back to work on their sophomore LP.

Once they officially re-signed record deals with Dualtone Records in North America and Decca/Universal as their international label, the Lumineers headed back to Denver -- their hometown -- to start writing their new album.

"Well folks, we are back in the studio ... It's been one hell of a ride so far, and we are excited to be writing again. Thanks, and stay tuned ...," guitarist and lead singer Wesley Schultz wrote in the caption of the Instagram photo below:

Aside from the new LP, the Lumineers are also contributing new material to the upcoming soundtrack for the new season of 'The Walking Dead' as well as as 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' -- which will be curated by Lorde.
